A business in Hertfordshire that manufactures, sells or transfers any type of firearm, shotgun or ammunition or anyone that repairs, tests or proofs this type of equipment must register with us.
To sell firearms or air weapons for trade or business, you must register as a firearms dealer. You will need to explain the nature of your business and show that you have an understanding of firearms legislation.

Fees and charges for firearms dealer registrations are detailed in the table below. Payments should be made via cheque or postal order, made payable to;
- Police and Crime Commissioner for Hertfordshire.
