Hertfordshire Constabulary are committed to keeping our roads
safe for all users. As such, if there is evidence an offence
has been committed we will take the most appropriate action
according to the circumstances.
This falls into:
1) Officer seen offences may result in:
a) A fixed penalty notice being issued
b) Recommended for an educational course to
improve driving skills
c) Report for court action
2) Collisions will be investigated by an administration unit
apart from the most serious. If an offence has been
committed, these may result in:
a) Court action
b) An educational driving course
3) Speed camera offence which may result in:
a) An educational driving course
b) A fixed penalty notice
c) Court action
