Security marking your plant and agricultural equipment
Agricultural Equipment – CESAR
marking and TRACKER
£70 million worth of plant and agricultural
equipment is stolen every year with 95 per cent never being
recovered.* It is clear therefore that steps need to be taken to
protect your farming and agricultural equipment.
Hertfordshire Constabulary recommends the use of CESAR Marking and
a form of tracking system in the event of a theft.
To assist, the Constabulary is
currently looking at arranging a series of events across
Hertfordshire to enable farm machinery to be CESAR marked and
fitted with TRACKER for a discounted rate.
If you would be interested in
having your agricultural equipment fitted with CESAR Marking or
TRACKER please fill in the on-line form below:
We will then either notify you of
the date of the next CESAR marking event in your area or will put
you in direct touch with the fitters to make arrangements that suit
you if you are unable to attend.
regarding CESAR Marking and TRACKER:
CESAR is an equipment registration
and security scheme that uses Datatag hi-tech security markings
that acts as a powerful deterrent to theft and an invaluable aid in
recovery in the event of theft.
Official statistics show that a
machine without CESAR is four times more likely to be stolen than a
CESAR registered machine. Plus the recovery rate for unregistered
plant is as low as five per cent, but the recovery rate for stolen
CESAR registered machines has increased to nearly 30 per cent in
2009, six times that of unregistered plant.
CESAR powered by Datatag is
approved by all the leading insurers and discounts of up to 20 per
cent are available to the registered keeper.
