appeal TO TRACE KIA-TYPE
CAR following A fail-to-stop collision in Hemel
Police are trying to trace a small white Kia-type vehicle which
failed to stop following a serious collision last night, which has
resulted in life changing injuries for a man aged in his 40s.
Sergeant Sam Cordingley, from the Beds, Cambs and Herts Road
Policing Unit, said: “This man has suffered very serious injuries,
which are now not thought to be life threatening, but are very
serious. He is currently undergoing surgery for his

At 10.25pm last night, the car collided with a man who was
working at a manhole on the roundabout between Marlowes and Combe
As a result the worker has fallen into the manhole.
The vehicle is thought to have continued on in the direction of
Leighton Buzzard Road.
Sgt Cordingley added: “If you have any information about this
incident or who the driver may be, then please contact police as
soon as possible as your information may prove vital in helping us
understand the circumstances of the collision.”
