I have been with the Constabulary for over 19 years. The majority of my service I have spent in the North Herts Policing Area. I have been with the Neighbourhood Team for 2 years and I am responsible for Knebworth and Codicote Wards.
I will be working alongside the local Police Community Support Officers to reduce crime and disorder, tackling issues set by the Neighbourhood Engagement Panel, improve quality of life and help reduce the fear of crime within the community.

Now the school holidays are in full swing there have been reports of Anti-social behaviour, criminal damage and underage drinking in our recreation areas. We encourage residents to report any incidents of anti-social behaviour as soon as possible.
Car crime continues to be a problem in Knebworth, vehicles are targetted during the day that have been left by commuters or parked whilst people are out walking **PLEASE REMEMBER NOT TO LEAVE VALUBLES IN YOUR VEHICLE WHILST UNATTENDED**
Please be aware we have had a number of burglaries in the area, homes have been broken into and the main purpose seems to be to steal the occupants vehicles . Please ensure you double lock all doors and leave your car keys somewhere safe and secure and away from doors and windows, if you would like any further advice on this please contact us.
Over the last couple of months we have been conducting speed enforcement within the villages to combat speeding Vehicles.
We have also been conducting Crime prevention days in areas where there have been an increase in reported crime, in an attempt to reduce car crime and burglary. We will also arrange for the Mobile Police station to visit the villages to promote Op Immobilize where we will encourage people to register property such as mobile phones to a free site. This will enable us to return property to the owner if it is found after being lost or stolen. Alternatively you can contact us directly and we can arrange to visit your home.
Operation Guardian has been relaunched across the whole County. Activities include crime prevention training for frontline Officers, new Operation Guardian crime prevention flyers, 'cocooning' leaflets and Officer handbooks – most of which have been informed by the research carried out with real ex-offenders and response plans to areas hit by burglary.
We encourage everyone to report any suspicious behaviour and look out for neighbours and vulnerable residents.
A few points to remember to help keep your house and property safe.
1. Always lock doors and windows (including those upstairs) before leaving the house
2. Make sure you double-lock PVCu doors by lifting the handle and using the key
3. Securely lock away any tools after gardening.
