A
Domestic Violence Officer (DVO) has experience of dealing with domestic abuse,
both physical and mental.
They will help anyone suffering from domestic abuse,
whether male or female, young or old. DVOs work with
other agencies and colleagues to support people and
work with the criminal justice system to bring perpetrators
of domestic abuse to justice.
A DVO will also work with other agencies in support
of District Community Safety Strategies, and on County
and Area domestic violence reduction initiatives.
