Can anyone else discover which web pages I have visited?

If you are concerned that someone may try to find out which web pages you have visited, it is possible to remove easily accessible history of these pages and associated images from your computer.

Depending on the web browser you are using the following will clear quick-access history of pages and images viewed. Please note that when you have cleared history by this method, history of all websites viewed will be removed too.

This method of removing history of web pages viewed is not a guarantee that 100% of all history is removed, and a computer expert may still be able to retrieve certain data.

Netscape:
Pull down Edit menu, select Preferences. Click on Navigator on choose 'Clear History'. Click on Advanced then select Cache. Click on "Clear Disk Cache".
On older versions of Netscape: Pull down Options menu. Select Network Options, Select Cache. Click on "Clear Disk Cache".

Internet Explorer:
Pull down the "Tools" menu, select Internet Options. On General page, under Temporary Internet Files , click on "Delete Files". Under History click on "Clear History." Alternatively, click "Start" and then select "Control Panel" and then choose the "Internet Options" icon and click the "Clear History" button.

AOL:
Pull down Members menu, select Preferences. Click on WWW icon. Then select Advanced. Purge Cache.

This information may not completely hide your tracks. Many browser types have features that display recently visited sites.

The safest way to find information on the internet, would be at a local library, a friend's house or at work.
