Obtaining Information Under the Publication Scheme


This Publication Scheme has been designed to highlight information and publications that are currently available from Hertfordshire Constabulary. Where information is available on the website a hypertext link will direct you to the correct page.


Printed or electronic copies of all information within the Publication Scheme is available.


Depending on the nature of your request a fee may be payable.


Hertfordshire Constabulary routinely publishes large volumes of information on its website.


Most information provided in our publication scheme will be freely available for downloading from the website.


How long will it take?


We aim to provide information listed in the Publication Scheme as soon as practicable.


Other information listed in this scheme, which is not available electronically, will be sent, or otherwise made available on request. In such cases the information will be supplied within five working days of your request being received.

  • Your name and a contact address
  • The information or documents you would like to access
  • The way you would like the information to be sent to you (e.g. by email as an attachment, on paper, floppy disc or CD-ROM).

Most documents shown in our Publications List are only available in English. On request these be can be made available in large print versions.


Like most large organisations, Hertfordshire Constabulary makes use of abbreviations in its documents and other records. We try to make sure that such abbreviations are kept to a minimum. We also provide a glossary.
