If you are an applicant with a protected characteristic, or a member of an underrepresented community, you can choose to have the assistance of a Positive Action mentor.
Our mentors are experienced police officers who also have protected characteristics, or are members of underrepresented communities, and are often paired up with applicants with whom they can share their experiences.
Your mentor will assist you as often as you require it, from initial application through to your final offer of employment, and often beyond. Your mentor will arrange regular catch up sessions and will make contact before each stage of the application process to offer insight, advice and support.
Many of our mentors are officers who received mentoring support from our team when they applied.
