To obtain a copy of your stop and search record, you can take the unique reference number on your text or paper receipt to a Hertfordshire Constabulary police station.
You will also need to bring some ID with you. This can be:
- Passport
- Driving licence
- Student ID card
- Bank card
- Utility bill
- (Photo ID is preferable)
Records are held for up to three months after the stop and search and are provided free of charge.
Where your search has been recorded on a paper form you will be given a paper copy at the time.
