Knife Amnesty

Operation Sceptre - knife amnesty

Hertfordshire is holding a knife amnesty between Monday 13 July and Sunday 19 July 2020, during which time knives can be surrendered anonymously at various locations around the county.

There will be bins located at Hatfield, Stevenage and Watford police stations throughout the amnesty. There are also two permanent knife bins located in Waltham Cross at Theobald’s Grove Train Station and on Monarchs Way.

There will also be temporary bins at these locations around the county:

Monday 13th 

  • Bushey Heath - 2pm-4pm

Tuesday 14th

  • Elstree - 8am - 10am 
  • Borehamwood - 8am - 11am
  • Shenley - 11am - 1pm
  • Elstree - 2pm - 4pm

Wednesday 15th

  • Radlett High St - 8am - 10am
  • Potters Bar - 8am - 10am
  • Radlett High St - 11am - 1pm
  • Potters Bar - 11am - 1pm
  • Radlett High St - 2pm - 4pm
  • Potters Bar - 2pm - 4pm

Thursday 16th

  • Borehamwood - 8am - 10am
  • Bushey Heath - 8am - 10am
  • Borehamwood - 11am - 1pm
  • Potters Bar - 11am - 1pm
  • Borehamwood - 2pm  - 4pm
  • Bushey North - 2pm - 4pm

Friday 17th

  • Borehamwood - 8am - 10am
  • Radlett High St - 8am - 10am
  • Borehamwood - 11am - 1pm
  • Bushey St James - 11am - 1pm
  • Borehamwood - 2pm  - 4pm
  • Radlett High St - 2pm - 4pm
