Knife Amnesty

Operation Sceptre - knife amnesty

Hertfordshire is holding a knife amnesty between Monday 26 April and Sunday 2 May 2021, during which time knives can be surrendered anonymously at various locations around the county.

There will be bins located at Hatfield, Stevenage and Watford police stations throughout the amnesty. There are also two permanent knife bins located in Waltham Cross at Theobald’s Grove Train Station and on Monarchs Way.

There will also be temporary bins at these locations around the county:

 

Monday 26 April

  • Tesco, Andrew Close, Shenley - 2pm to 4pm
  • High Road, Bushey - 12pm to 2pm
  • Manor Way Shops - times to be confrimed

Tuesday 27 April

  • High Street, Potters Bar - 2pm to 4pm
  • Watling Street, Radlett - 12pm to 2pm
  • Leeming Road shops, Borehamwood - times to be confrimed

Wednesday 28 April

  • Sainsbury, Darkes Lane, Potters Bar - 10am to 12pm
  • Tesco, Andrew Close, Shenley - 2pm to 4pm
  • Hartforde Road shops, Borehamwood - times to be confrimed

Thursday 29 April

  • Tesco, Andrew Close, Shenley - 10am to 12pm 
  • High Street, Bushey - 2pm to 4pm
  • Boulevard Retail Park, Borehamwood - times to be confrimed

Friday 30th April 

  • Outside Café Nero in Darkes Lane, Potters Bar - 10am to 12pm
  • Radlett: Patchetts Green/Aldenham - 11am to 2pm
  • Manor Way shops, Borehamwood - times to be confrimed

Sunday 2 May 

  • Leeming Road shops, Borehamwood - times to be confrimed
