Officers investigating an affray in Hertford are appealing for information and witnesses.

It happened in Maidenhead Street between 12.30pm and 12.45pm on Saturday, December 9.

Three men were reported to have been involved in a physical altercation with another man, who then left the scene with a woman and a child.

It occurred at a busy time of day when there would have been a lot of people in the immediate area.
