New campaign to track down Hertfordshire’s most wanted

27 Feb 2018
  • Hertfordshire Constabulary are running a month-long campaign to track down the county’s most wanted suspects.

  • Suspect details will be publicised on the Herts Police website and social media channels.

  • The campaign will run until the end of March.

Hertfordshire Constabulary is embarking on a month of action to track down the county’s ‘most wanted’ suspects.

Details of a different suspect will be posted on the police social media channels every day until the end of March, tagged #HertsMostWanted, whilst asking for help from the public to track them down.

Detectives are carrying out the month-long campaign to locate those who are most concerning, or who have managed to evade detection for extended periods.

Hertfordshire’s wanted people are advertised to the public through a number of channels, and often it is from intelligence supplied by local residents that many of these wanted individuals are located.

Detective Chief Inspector Jon Dick said: “Hertfordshire Constabulary have an excellent record of tracking down wanted suspects, but there are always a few cases that prove to be more difficult to reach an arrest. We are dedicating our resources to tracking down our most wanted, and need the help of the public to help us bring these individuals to justice.”

The images of wanted people can be found at: Herts Police, on twitter and on facebook.

You can also help us to identify people we would like to speak to in connection with on-going investigations by installing the Facewatch app, from the Apple Store or Google Play, you can also see the images here.

Hertfordshire’s ‘most wanted’ can also be seen at Crimestoppers most-wanted.
