Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a burglary in Borehamwood last week.

On Monday 4 October, at around 12.50pm, a property in Hartfield Avenue was broken in to.

The offender(s) conducted a messy search of the property, before stealing around £50 in cash and 200 euros.

Investigator Charlotte Hartley, of the Hertsmere Local Crime Unit, said: “Enquiries suggest that the offender(s) may have left the scene in a white Vauxhall Mokka, which is believed to be on cloned plates, and has a registration starting with ‘LM64’.

“I would be keen to hear from anyone who was driving in the area between 12.40pm and 1.10pm who has a dash cam fitted to their vehicle, as you may have captured something significant.

“Anyone with any information is asked to get in contact as soon as possible. Even something that may seem relatively minor or insignificant could be key to progressing our investigation.”
