Appeal following GBH in Bushey

Officers are appealing for information and witnesses following a GBH after the Summer of Love music festival in Bushey.

The incident happened in the grounds of the Bushey Metropolitan Sports Club (near the car park) in Aldenham Road. At around 10.30pm on Saturday 21 August, two men were involved in an altercation that became physical.

A man in his thirties, sustained a stab wound to his stomach and was taken to hospital. Thankfully he did not sustain any serious injuries. A second victim sustained a cut to his arm when he went to assist the first victim.

The suspect is described as black, aged between 25 and 30 years old and of an athletic build. He was wearing a black baseball cap and black tracksuit.

The incident happened shortly after the Summer of Love musical festival which took place in the grounds and so there may be a number of witnesses or people with information that could help officers.
