CCTV appeal following theft of handbag

  • Police are releasing images of three women they would like to speak to in connection with a theft.

  • A woman’s handbag was stolen in the Star Inn in Bishop’s Stortford on the morning of November 25.

  • The women pictured may have information that can assist officers with their investigation.

Police are releasing images of three women they would like to identify as part of their enquiries following a theft in Bishop’s Stortford.

On November 25 at around 11pm, a woman’s handbag was stolen when it was left on a chair in the Star Inn, Bridge Street.

The victim’s bank card was subsequently used by the offender(s) in a Co-op store in Harlow.

Officers would like to speak to the three women pictured as they may have information that could assist the investigation.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Hertfordshire Constabulary via the non-emergency number 101, quoting crime reference 41/59562/18 or report information online.
