Man arrested in connection indecent exposures

24 Aug 2021
  • The 37-year old man was arrested yesterday.

  • Police are investigating three reports of indecent exposure.

  • Anyone with information is still being urged to come forward.

Police investigating a series of indecent exposures in Watford and Bushey have arrested a man in connection with the investigation.

The 37-year-old, from Amersham in Buckinghamshire, was arrested yesterday (Monday 23 August) and has been released under investigation while enquiries continue.

Between Monday 19 July and Tuesday 27 July, police received three reports of lone females being approached by a man in a vehicle, who made sexual comments before allegedly exposing himself.

At no time did the man exit the vehicle or follow the females further.

PC Mark Emerson, who is investigating, said: “Although an arrest has been made, our investigations are continuing and we’re still keen to hear from anyone who may have information about these incidents.

“If you’ve been approached in similar circumstances, we’d also like to hear from you.”
