Man charged in connection with alleged stabbing – Ware

  • Georgie Hill, aged 18, from Thieves Lane in Hertford, has been charged in connection with an alleged stabbing in Ware 

  • It reportedly happened on Monday, March 4 in the grounds of Westmill Farm

  • Hill is next due to appear at St Albans Crown Court on April 14

A man has been charged in connection with an alleged stabbing in Ware on March 4.

Georgie Hill, aged 18, from Thieves Lane in Hertford, was arrested on Monday, March 11.

He was charged with:

  • Section 18 grievous bodily harm (GBH) – wounding with intent
  • Possession of an offensive weapon in a public place

Hill appeared before Hatfield Remand Court yesterday (Wednesday, March 13) and has been remanded into custody. He is next due to appear at St Albans Crown Court on April 14.

Sometime between 9pm and 9.20pm on Monday, March 4, a man aged in his 20s was allegedly stabbed in the thigh after meeting two men in the grounds of Westmill Farm.

The victim’s injuries were originally deemed life-threatening however thankfully he is now recovering well.
