Man charged with possession of a firearm

A man has been charged with possession of a firearm following a search of a property in Waltham Cross.

Acting on intelligence, police attended an address in Claremont, Cheshunt, on Sunday 6 June. Officers conducted a Section 18 search of the property, and seized a viable firearm.

James Havey, aged 60 and of Claremont, Cheshunt, was arrested and subsequently charged with possession of a firearm. He has been remanded into custody.
