Witness appeal following assault in Stevenage

  • Witnesses are being sought following an assault in Stevenage.

  • A woman was struck with a glass by another woman in the Drapers Arms last month.

  • Anyone with information is asked to call 101 quoting 41/58804/21.

We are appealing for witnesses and information following an assault in Stevenage.

At around 1.30am on Sunday 1 August a woman was struck in the face with a glass by another woman in the Drapers Arms, High Street. The woman suffered cuts and bruises.

PC Molly Ewins, who is investigating, said: “I appreciate this incident was more than a month ago, however we have made enquiries into it and are appealing for further witnesses, who have not already come forward, to get in touch.
