Witnesses sought following collision on A10 near Puckeridge

  • A female cyclist sustained serious injuries.

  • Officers are appealing for witnesses to come forward.

Officers investigating a road traffic collision on the A10 near Puckeridge are appealing for witnesses, or anyone who may have captured dash cam footage, to come forward.

The incident occurred at around 7.10pm on Monday 22 June, on the southbound carriageway, at the junction with an unnamed road that leads to Hay Street.

A black Mercedes and a pedal cyclist were involved. The cyclist, a woman aged in her 50s, suffered serious injuries and remains in hospital at this time.

PC Dale Morris, from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Road Policing Unit, said: “I am appealing for anyone who saw the collision, or who may have the seen the vehicle or cyclist prior to it to please get in touch. I am particularly keen to hear from anyone who may have captured dash cam footage of what happened.”
