Police are appealing for witnesses and information following two linked incidents which occurred in Hoddesdon and Cheshunt.

At around 12.15pm on Tuesday 30 March, a man is reported to have called a woman over to his vehicle, which was parked near a bus stop in Stanstead Road, Hoddesdon, just north of the Tesco Express store. As she approached the vehicle, the man is alleged to have indecently exposed himself.

Approximately 15 minutes later, the same vehicle was seen to pull into a layby on the A10 southbound, near the Brookfield Centre, before a man exited and reportedly waved an unknown object at a male driver.

No one was hurt during the incidents.

Detective Constable Darren Lomax, who is investigating, said: “Our enquiries are continuing at this time. As part of this, I am appealing for anyone who may have witnessed either incident, or been approached in similar circumstances, to please get in touch.

“I would be particularly keen to hear from anyone who may have captured any dash cam footage of a blue/grey Y-reg Vauxhall Astra travelling in the areas, around the times stated.”

Anyone with information is asked to please contact DC Lomax via email.
