Officers have taken action to secure a partial Closure Order at a property in Borehamwood to prevent further anti-social behaviour.
An application for the order at a property in Alma Court was made by the Borehamwood Safer Neighbourhood Team in partnership with Clarion Housing, Hertsmere Borough Council and Hertfordshire Fire and Rescue Service.
The order was granted at court on Thursday 23 June.
For the next three months, only the person who lives in the property is allow inside it. Those who breach the order could face a fine and/or imprisonment.
Sergeant Matt Cann, from the local Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “This Closure Order demonstrates that we will act when members of the public give us information about anti-social behaviour and suspected criminal activity.
“We have worked closely with our partners and will be monitoring to ensure that this order puts a stop to the anti-social behaviour that was having a negative impact on those neighbouring the address.
“We also have the option of taking further legal action if required at the end of the three-month Closure Order period.
“If you have information about anti-social behaviour or suspected illegal activity in your neighbourhood, please do not hesitate to report it so that we can take the appropriate action."
