Have your say on policing priorities for Ware and Stanstead Abbotts
Main article content
Do you have an issue or concern that you would like your local policing team in Ware and Stanstead Abbotts to focus on?
The Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) is about to set its next round of policing priorities for the area and is seeking views from members of the public.
SNT officers are responsible for dealing with short and long term neighbourhood issues such as anti-social behaviour, criminal damage, speeding and drug related crime. They also work with local partner agencies, including East Herts Council, to tackle long term community issues.
Officers will have a stall at the Ware Festival between 1pm and 4pm this Saturday (2 July) and are inviting people to come along to chat with them about any issues they would like to see officers focus on over the next three months.
They will also be able to discuss crime trends and stats, as well give out crime prevention advice on a range of topics.
SNT Sergeant Tom Prior said: “We are fully committed to working with local communities to help tackle any issues they may be facing. Direct feedback from members of the public is so important to help us do this and we want to make sure your voice is heard.
“If you are at the event on Saturday, please pop over and have a chat with us, we’d love to hear from as many people as possible.”
If you’re unable to attend, you can still give your views anonymously via echo:
