Meet your local officers at community event in Hertford

Members of the public are being invited to meet their local police officers at an event in Hertford.
Representatives from the Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) will be stationed at the Community Hub in Glenfield Court, during a community clean-up day on Monday 11 July.
The event has been organised by Active in the Community and will see volunteers clearing the garden and carrying out repairs and general maintenance work.
Officers will be present from 10am until noon, to chat to volunteers while they take a well-deserved break from their gardening duties.
PC Nick Anstead, from the SNT, said: “People attending on the day will be able to meet with local officers, to get crime prevention advice and discuss any issues they feel we should be focusing our efforts on.
“The feedback will be recorded via our community voice platform ‘echo’ and will be used to help shape neighbourhood priorities, initiatives and campaigns moving forward.
“If you’re at a loose end and fancy doing a good deed for the local community, why not pop along and lend a hand – and chat to your local policing team at the same time.”
Anyone interested in taking part in the clean-up is asked to please contact organiser Adam Howard via email but you do not need to register if you’re just popping by to speak with the SNT officers.
If you’re unable to attend the event, you can still give your feedback anonymously via echo.
