The wife of a man who passed away following a collision on the M1 motorway has paid tribute to him.
At around 12.30pm on Tuesday 22 February a man and a lorry were in collision between junctions 4 and 5 northbound, between Watford and Elstree.
The man, Fazle Virani aged 48 from Harrow, suffered serious injuries and sadly died at the scene.
Paying tribute to him, his wife Fatma said: “Fazle will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.
“His passing will leave a massive hole in our lives.”
Sergeant David Burstow, of the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Serious Collision Investigation Unit, added: “Our thoughts remain with Mr Virani’s family at this difficult time.
“We continue to investigate the collision and would like to hear from anyone who witnessed it or has relevant dash cam footage, that has not already been in contact.”
Anyone with information can email Sgt Burstow, report it online, use online web chat, or call our non-emergency number 101 quoting Op Volost and ISR 283 of 22 February.
Alternatively, you can contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or visit their website (opens in new window)
