The Stevenage Safer Neighbourhood Teams are about to review their local policing priorities for the next few months and would like to hear your views.
If you live or work in Stevenage and are interested in how your town is policed, this is your chance to share the issues that matter to you most.
The Safer Neighbourhood Teams (SNT) work with local communities, dealing with short and long-term neighbourhood issues. They also work in partnership with other local agencies including Stevenage Borough Council, to tackle many of the ongoing problems.
The current local priorities across Stevenage include:
Drug dealing, drug use and related crime
Speeding and nuisance driving
Anti-social and nuisance behaviour
Street drinking and begging
“We need input from our local communities to help us understand all of the issues that are impacting on them, explained Neighbourhood Inspector Pat McPeake. “Your feedback will help shape our patrol plans, as well as future campaigns and initiatives.”
