Chief Constable Charlie Hall said: “On behalf of the constabulary, I want to extend my deepest condolences to members of the royal family following the passing of HM Queen Elizabeth II.
Her commitment to public service was exemplary and an inspiration to us all, I have no doubt she will be hugely missed.”
There are online books of condolence or remembrance for people to pay their respects to HM Queen Elizabeth II.
The book for Hertfordshire can be found on the Lord Lieutenant’s website here: https://lord-lieutenant-herts.org.uk/remembrance/ (Opens in a new window)
Or messages can be sent via the Royal Family’s website here: https://www.royal.uk/send-message-condolence
