Police are appealing for witnesses, information and dash cam footage following a serious road traffic collision in Shenley.
At around 7.20am today (Wednesday 30 August), a Volvo bus and a man were involved in a collision on Porters Park Drive, at the junction with Grace Avenue.
Officers along with colleagues from East of England Ambulance attended the scene, with assistance from the air ambulance, and a man in his 50s was taken to hospital. He is being treated for life-threatening injuries.
PC Peter Hoddy from the Serious Collison Investigation Unit said: “Following the events of Wednesday morning, we are continuing with our investigation, and we are appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision or has information to come forward.
“We particularly want to hear from the lady who was on the bus at the time of the incident as she may have vital information to assist with our enquiries.
“Additionally, we would like anyone who was driving in the area at the time, to check their dashcam and anyone who lives in the area to review their ring doorbell footage.”
Anyone with information is asked to please email PC Peter Hoddy.
