Police have increased proactive and covert patrols in Harpenden following two reports of incident exposures and are asking for witnesses or anyone with any information to come forward.
The first occurred between 7.15am and 7.28am on Friday (25 August) and the second was on Saturday (26 August) between 10am and 10.10am on the footpath that links Dark Lane to Sherwoods Rise.
Neighbourhood Inspector Paul Caro said: “We understand that this will have caused concern in the area, and we are doing everything we can to find this man. We will be stepping up patrols – both overt and covert – in the area and at nearby schools to offer reassurance to members of the public. If you saw anyone acting suspiciously, have a hunch of who the man may be (please do not speculate on social media) or have any information, we would like to hear from you.”
