Back by popular demand! The beat surgeries at Hatfield Library are set to continue with the first taking place again on Friday (18 August).
Beat surgeries are an opportunity for residents to meet their local officers in a friendly, informal setting.
At the start of the year, the Welwyn Hatfield Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) joined forces with the library, based in White Lion Square, to host a series of surgeries.
The beat surgeries have been well attended with residents coming along to gain free crime prevention advice – and often walking away with free crime prevention devices!
Due to their popularity, new dates have been set:
PCSO Shannon Payne, from the SNT, said: “Residents found the beat surgeries really useful and we were able to get a good understanding of the issues affecting the community.
“We are pleased that the library is keen to continue working with us and we are looking forward to meeting more residents. Our first one is this Friday. Please do come along to say hello or to gain some crime prevention advice and goodies. We are here and want to help you.”
