Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) officers were out and about in Hertford over the weekend, asking people for their thoughts about safety in the town.
The latest Safer Streets event saw officers speaking with members of the public and asking them to complete a short survey.
The survey will assist in identifying areas of concern and help police and local partner agencies* to understand the reasons that people may not feel safe. The feedback will then be used to help shape further local safety improvements.
Neighbourhood Inspector Mark Collins said: “We’re committed to making sure that East Herts is a safe place for everyone to live, work and visit.
“Feedback from residents is absolutely vital, so that we can ensure we’re focusing on the areas that cause the most concern to local people. I’d like to thank everyone who took the time to speak with us.”
If you live or work in Hertford, or visit the town regularly, you can give your feedback by completing the short survey.
*The East Herts Community Safety Partnership consists of local organisations including East Herts Council, police, fire, education providers and justice services, who work to keep East Herts a safe place to live, work and visit.
