PCSO Anne Devine, from the Welwyn Hatfield Safer Neighbourhood Team, visited the children to showcase how the police help people.
The children also got a full tour around the police truck and even got to sit inside whilst PCSO Devine took them through all the features of the vehicle. They especially loved when she turned on the blue lights!
PCSO Devine said: “There was even more fun for the children as they measured themselves against the huge tyres - which were almost as big as them!
“It was such a fantastic visit and a pleasure to meet all the nursery students and give them an idea of how myself and my colleagues keep their community safe. It was also brilliant to see their faces light up when they realised they’d get to sit in the police truck!”
