Officers in St Albans have charged a man in connection with a robbery that happened outside Morrisons Supermarket in Hatfield Road.
He was also charged with drugs offences from a separate offence.
Gary Jakeman, 34, of New Kent Road, St Albans was remanded into custody after appearing at Hatfield Magistrates Court on Friday 24 November.
The robbery occurred on Tuesday 28 February and Jakeman is alleged to have grabbed the victim and taken a quantity of cash which had just been withdrawn out of an ATM.
He is next due to appear at St Albans Crown Court on Tuesday 2 January 2024.
