New policing priorities have been set for the Letchworth and Baldock Safer Neighbourhood Teams (SNTs), following a feedback process involving the local communities.
Thanks to local residents submitting their views via the force’s community feedback forum ‘echo’ and the online watch link – OWL, new policing priorities are now in place, taking into account the information received.
The SNTs are tasked with fixing short and long-term neighbourhood issues, which include issues such as anti-social behaviour, drug related crime, car crime and speeding. They work closely with local partners including the council and schools to achieve this.
For the next six months the SNT will be focusing on:

“Your local team will be working hard over the coming months to address these concerns. Together we will ensure that Letchworth and Baldock continue to be very safe places to live, work and visit.”
