The Three Rivers Community Safety Partnership (CSP) has a new Chief Inspector in post. Andrew Palfreyman takes the reins from the former Chief Inspector Alex Warwick following her retirement.
Andrew has over 18 years’ service in a variety of uniformed roles, from response to Safer Neighbourhood Roles, Crime Reduction and Community Safety and The Local Change Team.
He joins Three Rivers having enjoyed the last year 18 months working as a Safer Neighbourhood Team Inspector in Welwyn Hatfield.
Andrew says: “This is my first Chief Inspector posting, and it is an absolute privilege to be coming over to Three Rivers. I’ve been lucky enough to work in a variety of roles during my time with the constabulary, which have helped me to understand the day-to-day issues that people face.”
“I’m really looking forward to getting to know all the officers, as well as our local communities, and building on our existing relationships with our local partner agencies. I have inherited a fantastic team here, who work tirelessly to prevent crime and keep people safe.
“I’ve been a police officer for over 18 years, and it’s a job that I love and am incredibly passionate about. I have always enjoyed ‘operational’ policing, and I look forward to building upon existing partnerships in Three Rivers and working with our community to keep Three Rivers a safe place to live and work.”
Local residents can tell the Three Rivers Police Team what they think they should be prioritising in their area, by using the community voice platform ‘echo’ to share their views.
