Police are appealing for witnesses and information following an assault in Borehamwood.
The incident occurred between 3.15pm and 3.30pm on Tuesday (11 July).
It is reported that a verbal altercation occurred between a teenage boy and a man in his late 20s who were travelling on the 292 Metrolink bus before they both exited the vehicle on Gateshead Road.
The older male was then physically assaulted. No injuries were reported.
PC Laura McLaughlin, who is investigating, said: “Our enquiries are continuing, and I am urging anyone with information to please get in touch.
“Were you travelling on the bus at the time and saw what happened, or do you have any other information that could assist our investigation?”
Anyone with information is asked to please email PC McLaughlin.
