Police are appealing for witnesses, information and dash cam footage following a road traffic collision on the A10 Buntingford bypass.
The collision occurred on Baldock Road, at around 3.45pm on Thursday 20 July and involved a beige Nissan Micra and a grey Ford Transit Connect van.
The male drivers of both vehicles sustained serious injuries and remain in hospital at this time.
Two children were also travelling in the Micra at the time of the collision, one sustained serious injuries, while the other sustained minor injuries.
PC Peter Hoddy from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “Enquiries are continuing at this time to establish the circumstances around the collision. As part of this, we are appealing for witnesses to please come forward.
“Did you see the vehicles in the area prior to the collision?
“We’re particularly keen to hear from anyone who may have captured any dash cam footage. If you were driving in the area and have one fitted, please review any footage and contact us if you believe you may have captured something to assist enquiries. Thank you.”
Anyone with information is asked to please contact PC Hoddy by email.
