The Welwyn Hatfield Safer Neighbourhood Team are hosting a community engagement event at Stanborough Park on Saturday (24 June).
Officers will be giving out crime prevention advice between 10am and 2pm by Splashlands on the north side of the park.
They will also have bike-marking kit with them so any residents looking to get their bikes security marked should bring them along.
PC Kyle Whitelaw, from the Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “It’s forecast to be a lovely day so we are hoping for a good turnout. Please do come along and tell us about anything you’d like our help with. And if you were already planning a day at the park, please do drop by and say hello to us!
“We know residents are a fan of our bike-marking events so we’ll be bringing along our kit for that. We strongly encourage you to get your bike security-marked – it takes just seconds and it means that if your bike is ever lost or stolen, you have a better chance of being reunited with it.
“We look forward to seeing lots of you on Saturday.”
