The second in a series of beat surgeries hosted at Hatfield Library is taking place next Friday (24 March).
Following the success of January’s event, the Welwyn Hatfield Safer Neighbourhood Team will be returning to the library in White Lion Square to meet more residents.
The beat surgeries are a joint initiative between local officers and the staff at Hatfield Library to help the local community.
Residents can drop in between 11am and 1pm where they will be able to gain crime prevention advice and raise any concerns or thoughts on local police issues. There will also be some free security devices available.
PCSO Mark Randall said: “Our event in January was really successful and we are hoping that Friday’s event goes just as well!
“As your Safer Neighbourhood Team, we are here to tackle the local issues that are affecting you and we want to help. Is there something that has been frustrating you? Come and let us know on Friday.
“It’s always nice to meet residents so even if you’re just passing through the town centre, do pop in and say hello. We look forward to seeing you.
“Remember, if you can’t make it but want to let us know your views, please get in touch using our community voice platform, echo.”
