Officers are appealing for information and witnesses following several criminal damage incidents at a boarded-up farm building in St Albans.
The building in Bullens Green, Colney Heath, has been broken into several times and windows have been ripped out and paint thrown over the walls and floor.
Neighbourhood officer, PC Sean Lannon said: “We believe different groups of young people – believed to be school pupils – are regularly breaking into the Grade II listed building and causing substantial criminal damage. The owners have installed CCTV and we will also be visiting schools to identify those caught on camera.”
“If you know who may be responsible or you see anyone in the area who may be breaking into the building and causing the criminal damage, please do get in touch with me PC Sean Lannon quoting reference 41/26229/23.”
