Officers from the Welwyn Hatfield Safer Neighbourhood Team hosted a successful beat surgery in Welwyn village yesterday (Sunday 21 May).
PCSO Anne Devine, PC Liam Beaumont and PC Mitch Cartwright held a stall outside the Civic Centre between 11am and 1pm.
Residents were able to get crime prevention advice and speak to officers about any worries they had. Free security devices such as purse bells were also available.
PCSO Anne Devine said: “We always enjoy meeting with residents face to face and I would like to thank everybody who came along to see us.
“It was useful hearing your views and I hope that you left the beat surgery feeling reassured.”
