Several vehicles were seized, drugs were located and arrests were made during a week-long operation to tackle acquisitive crime in Hertfordshire.
The operation was led by Operation Scorpion teams and primarily focused on targeting criminals who use the road network to steal vehicles and commit burglary.
Around 40 officers from Operation Scorpion teams across Hertsmere, Welwyn Hatfield, St Albans, Dacorum, Watford and Three Rivers were involved, alongside colleagues from the Mobile Support Team and the Special Constabulary.
They conducted patrols in hotspot areas and utilised ANPR to stop vehicles of interest.
During the week:
PC Joe Geeson from the Hertsmere Scorpion Team coordinated the operation. He said: “This week-long operation is a great example of how teams from across the county work together to target criminals.
“We had some good results and our proactive patrols continue, day in day out.”
