Police are appealing for witnesses and information after a robbery took place in Hertford.
The incident occurred between 6.15pm and 6.30pm on Monday 23 October in the underpass between North Road and Aldi on Gascoyne Way.
It is reported that three males approached the victim before punching him in the back of the head and stealing his blue coat. They then threw a metal pole at the victim before making off.
Detective Constable Sarah Skene, of East Herts Local Crime Unit, said: “I am appealing to those who either witnessed the incident or have any information about it to please come forward.
“Additionally, if you were travelling along North Road between the times stated and you have dashcam footage, please contact me.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact DC Skene via email.
