Police are investigating a report of people approaching addresses with torches and possibly climbing over fences into residents’ gardens around William Place in Stevenage.
The alleged incidents are believed to have taken place between Sunday 10 September and Monday 11 September.
PC Lukas Haase, who is investigating, said: “We are trying to establish exactly what happened around William Place during the evening of Sunday 10 September and early morning on Monday 11 September?
“Did you see anything suspicious? If so, we would like to hear from you.
