A wanted man with connections to St Albans was spotted by an off-duty Herts police officer in New Kent Road at 4.40pm yesterday (Wednesday 4 October).
Safer neighbourhood PC Toby George and his colleague, who had also finished their shifts, arrested him.
Thomas Parry, aged 25, whose last known address was in Watford, was wanted for breaching a restraining order.
He has been charged with harassment – breaching a restraining order and will be appearing at Hatfield remand court today.
