Officers are appealing for information and witnesses following an alleged attack during a road rage incident in Watford.
Officers are appealing for information and witnesses following an alleged attack during a road rage incident in Watford.
The incident is reported to have occurred on Dodd Road at the junction with Broad Road between 1pm and 1.15pm on Wednesday 6 September.
The drivers of a blue BMW and a grey Ford transit van were involved in an altercation due to the victim asking the offender to move his vehicle after they had reportedly blocked the road.
The offender then physically attacked the victim, causing a broken jaw.
Detective Constable Julie Vint, who is investigating, said: “This incident happened at a time of day when there was likely to be a lot of people around, so I am keen to speak to anyone who either witnessed the incident or has any information that could assist us.
“Equally, I am keen to hear from anyone who may have dash cam or doorbell camera footage of what happened. If you were driving in the area at the time and have a dash cam, please check it and get in touch if you can help.
“You can get in touch with me directly via [email protected], quoting crime reference 41/71950/23.”
