Officers are appealing for information and witnesses following a reported stabbing in St Albans.
Police were called yesterday (9 October) at around 3.41pm to report a disturbance between a group of people outside the shops on Hatfield Road, St Albans.
Officers from St Albans and armed response officers attended with support from the National Police Air Service and the ambulance service.
A 16-year-old male and a 17-year-old male were taken to hospital by paramedics with serious suspected stab wounds, not deemed to be life threatening.
Inspector Paul Caro from St Albans Safer Neighbourhood team said: “I want to reassure the public that this is being treated as an isolated incident, but police patrols are being increased in the area to safeguard others.
“We are working hard to trace who was responsible for the incident yesterday afternoon. If you have information which could help our investigation, please email Detective Sergeant Paul Wadsworth via [email protected], and quote ISR 584 (09/10/23).”
