Detectives investigating a burglary at a home in Hitchin have released images of some of the items that were stolen, in a bid to trace them and return them to their rightful owner.
The incident occurred between 9am and 4.15pm on Tuesday 12 September, at an address in Fore Street, Weston, Hitchin.
Entry was gained to a property, via a patio door by breaking a glass panel. More than £16,000 of high-value jewellery, some of which are pictured, were reported stolen.
PC Remi Whates, who is investigating, said: “I’m appealing to anyone who may have seen any of these items of jewellery since the burglary to get in touch.
“Have you been offered them for sale? Or seen them advertised for sale?
“Additionally, any witnesses or anyone who has information about the burglary can contact me directly by email at [email protected].”
