Officers investigating a burglary in St Albans are releasing images of some of the stolen jewellery items in a bid to trace them.
Between 10am on Wednesday 9 August and 4.30pm on Thursday 24 August, it is reported that a house was broken into on Clarence Road.
A gold plain necklace, a Victorian butterfly brooch, a 1970s gold pearl brooch and a silver, three-piece condiment set were reported as stolen.
Investigator Jacob Smith, from the Local Crime Unit, said: “Our enquiries are continuing, and we are appealing for anyone with information to please get in touch.
“We are releasing images of the items so that we can trace them and return them to their rightful owner.
“Have you seen the items discarded anywhere, or seen them for sale online? Please get in touch if you have information that could assist our enquiries.”
Anyone with information is asked to please email Investigator Smith.
